April 26, 2022 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Frederick Law Olmsted, social reformer and founder of American landscape architecture. Olmsted championed public parks and open spaces, and understood their link to the physical and mental health of communities. The GCA has embraced his work and encourages member clubs to celebrate it as well. Stay tuned for more information about GCA's initiative to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Frederick Law Olmsted. “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”

Benjamin Franklin

Conferences that could only be offered to a few GCA club members in the past will be available to every club member at no cost. For these conferences, we are assembling a powerhouse of speakers who will share with you their lifelong accumulation of knowledge and wisdom. But, we don’t plan to just tell you or teach you; we plan to involve you in dynamic experiences that will offer you the opportunity to apply what you have heard.
